Namibia 2027
Our destination for 2027 is Namibia! An unforgettable journey where desert, mountain, and star-filled skies meet adventure and conservation.
What to Expect
Working alongside an award-winning African conservation team, you’ll help protect endangered desert elephants and support local communities through hands-on volunteering such as building protective walls, creating water points, or assisting at local schools.
Head deep into the desert for elephant tracking and a multi-day trek around Namibia’s highest mountain Brandberg and camp under vast night skies, experiencing true wilderness living.
The expedition may finish in Swakopmund, where we can explore the coast, celebrate with the team, and even kayak with playful seals.
The expedition will be 17-21 days from the end of July into August and it'll cost around £3,500, which you'll fundraise as part of the team. We try to secure grants and funding to help reduce the fee too.
Commitment
As well as being away for three weeks in the summer of 2027, we also run team and skills building sessions in the run up to the expedition. It’s all part of the adventure.
There will be 12 in-person ‘Getting Together’ sessions and some of these will be residential. You will need to be able to attend at least 75% of these sessions if you want to come on expedition.
On top of this you will also need to take part in team and individual fundraising.
